Charlotte Estate Sales is owned and operated by Kelly Oyama.

Kelly was born in Michigan but moved to Southern California with her parents in 1968. During high school, she developed a love for the sport of Billiards and would spend the next 25 years as a ranked player with the Women's Professional Billiard Association.

During those years Kelly owned several billiard rooms in California, Hawaii, and in 1993 purchasing Mother's Billiards on South Blvd. in Charlotte, NC which she operated until 2001.

Kelly has two sons that grew up in Charlotte attending Providence Day School and Appalachian State University and it was after they left for college that she began to develop a love for vintage items. Attending multiple estate sales each week she learned about reselling items and also about the estate sale business.

In 2018 Kelly decided to take her passion and embark on a new career. She attended the Carolina Auction Academy in Locust, NC, and became a licensed Auction Firm in 2019.

Taking what she has learned from reselling and coupling it with 35 years of small business experience, Kelly has built a reliable, reputable, and professional company, now known as Charlotte Estate Sales.
